Review From bnburns2000 on itunes
Cody Brown is one of the finest young songwriters my ears have had the pleasure of ingesting in recent years. He reinstills not only my faith in my generation's ability to create expressive, profound music, but also my faith in the earnestness and sincerity of the human experience. His playing is reflective of his influences: Steve Earle, early Dylan, and contemporaries like Iron and wine. Cody Brown does not stop at emulating their styles though; he takes them in the direction of his own artistic voice, assuring the listener of his optimism in the goodness of the world, even in the face of the insurmountable negativity that pervades our culture.
In short, Cody Brown's music has changed my life, and it can do the same for you.

Bio
Cody Brown has been an active part of his local music scene since he was 12. Progressing from his roots in Bluegrass and Folk to Rock to Metal to Indie and now back to folk Cody has finally found his home with his music. Playing shows with the likes of Bradley Hathaway and recently one of the largest stages at Cornerstone Cody is quickly rising in the folk scene. His first tour as a folk artist started in Mid May and left him driving 3300 miles across the country on his Extinction! Exclamation! tour in support of his new cd. Cody loves music and is sincere when he says, "this is what I want in my life, this is where I find God leading me."
