Cluster Funk is an alternative rock/jam rock band out of Southern Connecticut. Cluster Funk has been active for over two years and during this time has gained a large following in Connecticut. The band consists of five members: Will Hetherington on drums and lead vocals, Will Reed on bass, John Hetherington on lead guitar, and Patrick Crookenden on guitar. Some members of Cluster Funk have played with such acts as the Allman Brothers Band and Carlos Santana. Along with these artists, some of the band's influences include Young the Giant, Tame Impala, Gary Clark Jr., Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix, and Neil Young.
The band produces a dynamic sound that has been described as the perfect blend of rock, funk, alternative, and blues. Our ability to perform original compositions and unique covers attracts, engages and captivates audience of differing preferences.
Cluster Funk has just finished their debut album Passiflora which was recorded, mixed, and mastered at The Bunker in Brooklyn, New York. The album shows off their ability to perform a wide range of genres such as funk, jazz, indie rock, alternative and blues.
