Bio
Residing on the soul side of the rock spectrum, 'Clarence Buffalo' takes it's name from a classmate of guitarist Rich Prisinzano. The stout rhythm section of Justin Smith (bass) and Al Aguirre (drums) coupled with the warm guitar tones provide a perfect backdrop for the soulful vocals of Mark Romero. Even though the band has known each other for over a decade, they have only being making music together for a short 2 years. The result has produced an EP ('Until Now', available on itunes and amazon) and a loyal following in the DC area. The band is currently working on their first full length album and expect to release it in March 2011.
In the last year, the band has played Jammin’ Java in Vienna, Ragtime and Westover Market in Arlington, Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern in Herndon, Asylum in DC and the acclaimed Purple Fiddle in Thomas, WV.
The song ‘Breathe’ has been played on WRYR, our song Out Where It's Green has been played numerous times on the 'Herm & Rayce' show on musicforte.com and the band madd an appearnce on the 'Other Guys Show' on Radio Fairfax.
