Bio
Chengetai has been writting and composing, both in Shona and English, since the age of 14.
Her amazing vocals skills as well as unforgettable stage appearance enabled her initialy to tour the World as an opening artist for South-African entertainers (Selaelo Selota, Joe Nina, Simphiwe Dana) before she got enough self-confidence and support to release her debut album, "Zimblue", featuring Louis Mhlanga on guitar and Wessel van Rensburg on piano.
Chengetai is presently based in Paris, and is introducing herself with a 4 pieces band (drums, bass, 2 guitars) Her "Rainbow-Music" program is 50' long... but always sounds too short !
