Changing Pace

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 “Do you know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” ~ In a world full of stagnant, complacent Christians just getting by, we, the guys of Changing Pace, hope to see people make a choice to be bold and start running the race that Christ has set before us. Not to just walk or even jog, but to push harder and run faster than we ever thought we could. We desire to share the passion we have for the Lord through our music and our lives. Hopefully you will jump on board with us in changing the status quo and becoming not just Christians, but Warriors for the kingdom of God.

Changing Pace is a Contemporary Praise and Worship Rock band based out of the Memphis area consisting of: Tyler Bradley (Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Christian Walton (Lead Guitar and Background Vocals), Jacob Carr (Bass), and Lee Kercher (Drums). We, as a band, are focused on leading others to join us in worship, and not just any worship, but Romans 12:1 worship (Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship). Our relationship with Jesus Christ goes far beyond the music.

We have recently finished and released a demo on March 1, 2011 (Changing Pace "Set my Soul on Fire.") It was not professionally mixed mastered or produced. We just did what we could to make the music available for the people. It is on I-tunes, Amazon and many other stores. The songs were written by Tyler Bradley but creatively impacted by the whole group.

Our mission is quite simple, we seek to worship Jesus Christ with all that we have, and to live out our worship and love for Christ to impact the world. In Luke, the bible says, “Out of the the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks”, we hope and pray that every time we are heard, our hearts reflect Christ and His love..
