Bio
Winner of CMT's Music City Madness, Chance McKinney is now labeled as the #1 "unsigned" signer/songwriter in the nation. He just finished filming a CMT Studio 330 Session April 29th with Reba McEntire and Steel Magnolia. His rights are currently owned by Big Machine/Valory Music until December 2010. Will they sign him? Stay tuned.
Impending tour dates with Dwight Yoakam (April), Blake Shelton (July), Jamie O'Neal (July), Grand Funk Railroad (July), Creedence Clearwater (August), .38 Special (August) and Lynyrd Skynyrd (September) are already on the books with many more to follow. Tour dates range from WA to OR to ID to MT to UT... is it breakout time for the Northwest product?
Standing over 6'6" tall, Chance has some large boots to fill... literally. Size 14's are not easy to come by! The expectation of the country "big man" means competition with likes of Trace Adkins (6'7"), Blake Shelton (6'5") and Darryl Worley (6'7"). His deep, filthy, syrup-drippinn' voice brings a unique element to the genre. A background in Motown means he moves like a Temptation while a Montana upbrining roots him squarely in country.
