?But Jan. 21, Cris Cuddy will only be serving up his special brand of music as his band — the Cris Cuddy Acoustic Unit — takes part in the second annual Stouffville Winterfolk Sneak Preview. “Stouffville’s a great town. It’s been good to me in most ways,” Mr. Cuddy said.
?The Cris Cuddy Acoustic Unit is made of Mr. Cuddy, Pierre Bordeleau and Andrew Heathcoate. Together, they play Mr. Cuddy’s music, in particular, songs from his latest CD Diamond Shine. “What we’re doing now sparkles. It’s different and more exciting than many of the ventures I’ve done before. … They’re exceptional guys, exceptional musicians,” Mr. Cuddy said.

Bio
The Cris Cuddy Acoustic Unit came about after the release of Cris's 2010 CD "Diamond Shine".
Cris Cuddy is a veteran canadian songwriter who's career spans decades in bands like Max Mouse and The Gorillas and Jeremy Dormouse. As a solo artist, Cris has been producing original albums for over 20 years.
Cris's songs are from the heart, leaning on all genres his lyrics define the songs as the music creates the mood. Cris's songs have been covered by many artists including the great Canadian country band Prairie Oyster and the renowned guitarist Jim Hurst .
Performing with Cris are Pierre Bordeleau on lead acoustic and vocals and Andrew Heathcote on String Bass and vocals.
Both Pierre and Andrew are seasoned musicians performing regularily for the last 20+ years in and around Quebec, Ontario and the rest of Canada.
The love of the music is what inspired this group to come together and it is evident at every performance they give.
In June of 2012 Cris released his latest solo recording titled "The Boy from Beaumont". CCAU have added songs from the new record as part of the live show.
