Cartiyaa’ (born Kenneth Cadle September 27, 1990) better known by his stage name Cartiyaa’. An African American Hip-Hop artist raised in Houston, TX’s Alief area, but from Belize City, Belize. From age 2-5 he stayed with his grandmother in Belize (Kings Park), due to his parent’s work schedule. At 6 Cartiyaa’ moved to Houston, where he stayed until after he graduated from Elsik HS and was suspended from Prairie View A&M University. From there Cartiyaa’ picked up drug dealing to maintain his living. From Houston he moved to Chicago to pursue his career. Cartiyaa’ is Currently working on his 2nd solo mixtape, and recording a lot, said he wants to have an artillery of music like PAC. In 2015 he recently released a couple singles such as Connected, Real, Ballin’, and Swish featuring his good friend Wicked Law, and is slowly but surely gaining exposure from those tracks. Since working with Wicked, Mike Reeves, Welfarerich, Angelo, POONE, etc. his work ethic has driven him to success. He has been featured on several mixtapes such as “On Kings”, “Coast 2 Coast mixtapes” “Welfarerich The Mixtape”, “Finesse God 2”, along with his 1st solo mixtape “Dreams Of Greatness”. Cartiyaa’ is currently on the verge of super stardom, seen in pictures and videos with 70%-85% of Houstons up and coming stars. Known for all the wrong things in his past, Cartiyaa’ is currently headed in the right direction of being known for what he wants to be known for, which is music.
