"Carson and Tess have performed at Seattle University on two occasions and we would always be thrilled to have them back! It is a treat to be able to bring a musician of this caliber to a university campus. Their soulful performance drew a packed house and was a favorite among the year's musical guests. They are a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them as a professional and outstandingly talented show!" - Samantha Galvin - Seattle University - Samantha Galvin

Bio
Carson and Tess Henley (no they are not married!) are a sibling duo with a unique, soulful, r&b sound. Both credit their mother's career as a struggling band singer and daily Suzuki piano lessons from the age of three for developing a "musicality" in their songwriting. However, Carson did not start singing until he was coaxed into a high school talent show. Both Carson and Tess have successful solo careers as well as a busy schedule performing as a duo. Their sound draws comparisons to Alicia Keys, Corinne Bailey Rae, Maroon 5, and Gavin DeGraw.
Their music was named TOP 25 by Indie-Music.com and is not receiving airplay in Europe and the States. You may also have heard their music in Starbucks, Armani, GAP, and others. Tower Records (Japan) has also become a supporter of their unique brand of music, pushing a special edition cd with some very large in store displays and recommendations. The highly respected Soul & Jazz & Funk (UK) says "The Henley approach to music is all about craftsmanship, commitment, and an appreciation of what truly constitutes musicality."
