Carmen believes that when following a dream, motivation is everything.
“I draw most of my strength from the people around me. I see that they believe in me and we work hard at making my dream come true. I have so much potential and passion in me for music that I sing in my sleep, and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to write lyrics! As far as motivation, at times, I can be very competitive, but that makes me work harder. I admire Beyonce, and her work ethic inspires me. In a way, she pushes me because I know if she can dance in six-inch heels and sing her heart out at the same time, I should be able to do it as well. I want to awe the audience at all times!”
Carmen is well on her way to wowing and impressing. She also keeps a good balance when it comes to working on the woman she is becoming, while she develops the artist she has always been. She is what the industry needs, an all-around star.
