Bio
Callaloo is a world fusion steel pan combo performing original compositions. The 6 member group has performed at various high profile venues such as Taste of Chicago, WGN national broadcast news at noon, Montrose Room at the Intercontinental Hotel O'Hare, as well as other Chicagoland festivals and events. The percussion based group employs an amalgam of instruments - steel pan, marimba, ethnic percussion, drum set, classical guitar, electric and acoustic bass - while combining composed, orchestrated parts and improvisation in various styles of music.
