"This is an excellent first album from a very talented artist. While the songs are well constructed and the vocals soaring and accomplished, the whole thing has a sort of youthful shine/charm. I have followed Caitlin on her YouTube channel and am glad to have the chance to own professionally recorded versions of most of her original songs. I can't wait until the next album!"

Bio
Caitlin Burgess is an acoustic folk singer/songwriter, born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. She now lives in Toronto, working and playing music in and around the city at venues including The Cameron House, Mitzis Sister, Cest What, The Rivoli, Czehoski and more. Her first album I Know It's You was independently released in 2008 and she has since been performing as a solo musician and with other bands including The Sweet Peas. Her influences include everything and anything from Bob Dylan to Pearl Jam, but mostly female folk singers like Patty Griffin, Sarah McLachlan & Schuyler Fisk. She has performed at festivals including Indieweek, Winterfolk, In The Soil: Niagara's Homegrown Arts Festival, Apple Hollow Music Festival in Quebec, and the Indiegrrl Music Festival in Tennessee. Other events have included the FAME movie premiere after-party at the Randolph Academy in Toronto and the Born To Play indie music day at The GAP. She performs on the acoustic guitar and the ukulele, and sings about anything from love stories and broken hearts to friends and family, living in the city, and music's ability to make you dream. Caitlin has been described best by Toronto journalist known as Lonely Vegabond, who at her CD release party wrote, "a waiflike Joni Mitchell-type and an acoustic guitar, holding her own to a capacity room. A singer-songwriter finding fun in her music. At peace with the world. Stories to tell. An endearing acoustic escapade that soothes and moves you."
