BRutherz

Burrel and Ross Rutherford make up the Texas Country duo BRutherz.  Before branching off to do solo careers Burrel and Ross used to perform as The Rutherfords.  When they joined forces again they were looking for a fresh start and since “Burrel & Ross Rutherford” seemed to be a bit long, they decided to shorten the name to BRutherz – ‘B‘ stands for Burrel, ‘R‘ stands for Ross, ‘uther‘ is part of their last name from Rutherford and the ‘z‘ stands for their little brother Zane, but even though he does not perform with them, he so happens to have the finishing touch on the name.

Throughout their career they have had the pleasure of opening and sharing the stage with some of the industries greats like, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Tim McGraw, Sammy Kershaw and George Strait and have been involved in productions that included Trisha Yearwood, Pam Tillis, Louise Mandrell, Marty Stuart and Travis Tritt. Burrel and Ross were both born in Kansas and were raised up and down the Texas Panhandle and currently reside in Texas near the San Antonio area.
