A cross between Regina Spektor and Sara Bareilles, DiCaro’s storytelling is simple and emotive as her vocals soar over her piano melodies. "Brooke is young and talented. I described her to a friend as the
offspring of Amy Winehouse and Fiona Apple, raised in rural South

Brooke DiCaro is a passionate singer/songwriter growing up in
South Jersey. Not fitting into any one specific genre, Brooke combines elements of jazz and blues to create a unique sound of her own with a soulful voice accompanied by a ukulele and piano.
In November 2013, Brooke independently released her debut
self-titled EP gaining recognition throughout the tri-state area,
playing a "Live at 5" studio sessions at Philly's top alternative
radio station Radio 104.5 and being spun on as well as a live in studio session on South Jersey's WSTW 93.7 and Rowan Radio's WGLS 89.7. Her sophomore EP, "Consequences" was released in the Spring of 2015, recorded at Locustwood studios and mixed and mastered by 9 time Grammy award winner Joe "The Butcher" Nicolo. This EP also gained local recognition including another live studio session on 104.5 and 93.7.
She now plays weekly and has done over 175 shows throughout the past year in the quad-state NJ/PA/DE/NY area where she does both original and cover gigs. She often plays solo but can be seen with a back up band which consist of bass,percussion, and saxophone. Some notable venues she has played are The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, MusikFest, Live @ 5 on Philly's Radio 104.5, Xfinity Live, the Hard Rock Cafe, World Cafe Live (PA & DE), Love Park, and many more. She has received airplay on South Jersey's Radio WSTW 93.7 and Rowan Radio WGLS 89.7."
