Brianna Conroy is an alternative indie singer-songwriter currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The youngest of four, Brianna was raised into a musical family residing in Los Angeles, where she taught herself guitar and piano. She began collaborating with her siblings and gradually started to perform at local coffee shops and venues. In early 2010, Brianna created her first YouTube video, a cover of Arcade Fires Sprawl II, performed with her brother, which received over 20,000 views, and began her career as a YouTube artist. In addition to her performances at prestigious LA venues such as Whisky a go-go and The Roxy, she was recently featured on Dolce and Gabanas online website, swide.com.
Growing up listening to iconic artists such as The Beatles, Crosby Still and Nash, Beck, and Radiohead, Brianna carved out her musical inclinations. Her eclectic sound consists of vulnerable lyrics, intimate melodies, and ambient harmonies. Brianna Conroy pulls inspiration from contemporary artists such as The Black Keys, Grizzly Bear, Kimbra, The xx, and Young The Giant to add an additional twist to her acoustic songwriting foundation.
