Bio
Brian Gordon presents songs that tell stories of every day life, and every day people. Dubbed as acoustic roots with pseudo-celtic tendencies, inspired by such Canadian songwriting legends as Spirit of The West, Grapes of Wrath, The Waltons and the Skydiggers; as well as the distinct sounds of his musical mentors The Water Walk, River Detectives and The Housemartins, Brian's songs have the timeless ability to communicate as only folk music does.
Brian was been asked to perform at the pre-cruise launch party for the Barenaked Ladies' annual concert cruise, "Ships & Dip". Brian has performed several shows with John Mann, frontman and songwriter for Spirit of The West, as well as shows with Chris Trapper (of the Push Stars), and Dave Carroll (of Sons of Maxwell). Brian is currently recording with award-winning producer, Timothy Abraham.
