In 2012 Lawrence Qualls formed Brainfood Project, a loose collective with fellow musician pals that created spark friendly soundtracks. Brainfood Project studio sessions quickly showed signs of something greater. Since its formation, Brainfood Project has provided a solid sonic music foundation for a bevy of artists including master
pianist/composer Onaje Allan Gumbs, critically acclaimed R&B alternative artist Peter Hadar, and spoken word artist Toni Blackman, plus a group near and dear to Qualls kick drum Samm Davis and the Have Nots. Brainfood Project has broadened Qualls scope as a professional musician adding songwriter, producer, arranger and music director to his list of credentials.
