With hard-hitting and high-energy shows that have been gripping the local punk scene, Bourbon DK bring a special blend of music with catchy lyrics, in-your-face punk and upbeat ska that can’t be found anywhere else.
Bourbon DK are a very crowd friendly band and don’t let anything get in the way of the show. They are currently based out of Toronto and play mostly around the Golden Horseshoe in Ontario. They have played in several festivals (SCENE, Indie Week, NXNE, Burly Calling) and have been featured in a couple of Ontario punk compilations.
Bourbon DK have released two EPs, Hooligans in Oct 2012 and Beer Bongs & Fight Songs split w/The Rebel Arms in July 2013, and a live album in Oct 2013.
The band draws influence from a wide range of musical styles including punk, oi, ska, reggae, metal and traditional drumming to create their defining sound. With their music and beer-soaked shows, they are continuously generating new fans.
Bourbon DK are here to play music, have a good time and keep the punk scene alive for years to come.
