Bio
Bog Light is a musical organization based in Chicago. The two founding members, Andrew Longaker and Kevin Lipa, grew up and met in Southern California. In 2012, Kevin felt a calling inside to return to the city of his birth, and promptly relocated to Chicago. Enticed by the prospect of living in a place with a strong jazz presence, Andrew soon followed. The two began playing originals and standards around town as a guitar duo, which helped build a strong cohesive force in the root of the group. As a duo, Bog Light has been all over the world, or at least the parts of the world that include Mexico and America. While they might not have yet encompassed the entire globe geographically, they are well versed in the world musically.
