Body Part Trophy Case,"Killing Without a Motive" (Indie Release)
New Jersey metal is alive and well, as the Garden State's Body Part Trophy Case does its part on KILLING WITHOUT A MOTIVE to prove this theory true. This nine-track aggressive offering exhibits a wide range of influences from classic to thrash to death metal, as this quartet keeps itself occupied with odd time signatures, crushing spurts of chugging guitars, in your face vocals, and rhythms that run from spastic to stringent at the drop of a dime. Imagine the imagery of Cannibal Corpse with the sound of Dark Angel, Pantera, and Carcass propelling the madness, as songs like "Welcome to the Hatchet Wound" contain all the metal goodness you desire and more. Horned hands up high, folks, as these guys crunch with the best of them.

Bio
Formed in the spring of 2001, this trio from the South Jersey area has come together to bring audiences their soul music, METAL. There are sounds ranging from death to grind to thrash to speed metal at any given moment in one of their compositions. Their formula for songwriting differs in every piece that they execute. Their new EP, “Killing Without a Motive”, gives the listener an opportunity to experience the beginning of what lies ahead for this young group of musicians.
The band was founded by members Dan O'Kane (drums) and Mike Barrett(lead vocals/guitar), who had previous playing experience together in other bands. After a few months of searching, Mike called upon Jordan DiServio (bass), a member of a previous band they both were in to fulfill the role of bass player. The unrelenting music that has been created and performed by the members generated an overwhelmingly well response from local audiences and listeners, this lead to the decision to remain a three-piece.
The name Body Part Trophy Case was developed to emphasize their aggressive attack on the listener's senses and their unrestricted approach to songwriting despite the demand of the nu-metal formula. Their major influences include such artists as Slayer, Carcass, Pantera, Anthrax, Testament, Danzig, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Candiria, Burnt By The Sun, and Suffocation, each of these bands has carved a path in the music industry, allowing acceptance for true metal worldwide. The members of Body Part Trophy Case' soul intent is to deliver their music to audiences in hopes of preserving the entity of metal.
