Self-labeled as a funk/country/reggae/rock fusion, Blue Apple Groove successfully blend multiple genres of music while simultaneously creating one of their own. I first heard them at the Havertown Music Festival and was impressed by their sound – a blend of electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. They play original music (written by a band member from what I have gathered), but have not yet had an official release outside of the songs circulating on reverbnation and youtube. What’s best you might ask? They’re local (Bala Cynwyd)!

Blue Apple Groove is currently finishing their first album in the studio. Projected release is June 1st.

Blue Apple Groove is a philadelphia band that blends multiple genres into something of their own. The band was created for a studio session. When the original lineup couldn't attend the session, replacement musicians had to be found. The current lineup is made up of those new members. Some things just work out in the end.
