2009 sees the debut release from Australian rock band BILLY. BILLY is a collaboration between brothers Derek & Tim Kelly. They have been brothers their entire lives! The band is rounded out by singer Megan Hunter and multi-instrumentalist Ian Brett. Their music sounds like nothing quite else and its singularity has been described as existential folk rock. With influences as varied as The Beatles, Faith No More, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Jean Paul Sartre, Paul Klee, T.Rex & Kiss, it is hard to categorise BILLY's sound. The band is now hitting its straps after months of recording, set to tour the east coast of Australia as the beginning of a worldwide assault. DEMONS OUT has just been released worldwide on iTunes.
