It is with great pleasure and congratulations that we write to inform you that a song of yours has made it through to the Shortlist in the judging process of the Australian Songwriting Contest 2008! The details of which particular songs were successful have just been posted on the ASA website www.asai.org.au . Getting through to this stage is a great achievement, as there are thousands of songs entered every year into this competition.
So now the last stage of judging is underway! To know the final result, please look at the website around the time of 14th August, when the actual Top 10 results will be posted.

Hello Bill. Thank you for your submission of "Come To Me". It is very nice. I like your mission statement '..inspired by the author of the music you hear.." That is where it is at. Sadly, the ones that tend to hear the message are often the ones that are already saved. But we pray that there is a message in our song to those that are lost also. Assuring them of God's love for us - and there is hope through Salvation in Jesus Christ. What a divine purpose we have. We are changing all music over to HD and would love to have you send a CD so I can rip and process the track on our system. Thank you for your submission. Just writing to let you know the great news that you are amongst the group of songwriters who have had some of their entries progress to the second stage of judging in the 2009 ASA competition. This is very exciting because it is hard to be short-listed in such a big competition, so congratulations!
Those of you who progress further will be notified in August. If you do not hear from us by the end of August you will know that you are not a contender for the Top 10, however be encouraged by the fact that the judges have recognised a significant level of ability in your current submissions.

After making the "Honorable Mention" list of the top 1500 songs submitted to Billboard's 16th Annual World Song Contest with "The Great I Am", the following critique was sent regarding "You Set Me Free", for the 17th Annual World Song Contest.

Paradise Bound began in 2008 as a seed planted with hope. It is represented by some of the music posted here on my site. It has grown far beyond my humble expectations to become a platform to reach out to others around the world.
Off The Shelf is the acoustic cover group that I recently formed in 2011, and plays songs from the 70's and beyond. Warm vocals, like minded musicians with a desire to share the joy of our music is what we're all about.
