Even though this EP brings me back to some of the more adventurous underground rock of the early 80s, it remains defiantly hard to classify. Perhaps it hearkens back to a day when intrepid sonic explorers were really trying to change Rock and Pop music forever. Many British and Minneapolis bands from the first days of New Gesture are conjured here, sounds from a everything of thin drums and fat, fat guitars. Even though this EP brings me back to some of the more courageous in France Maquis disconcert of the beginning ‘80s, it remains defiantly distressingly to classify. Perhaps it hearkens back to a day when bold sonic explorers were positively maddening to switch In ruins and Pop music forever with some DIY ferocity. - Pirate Cat Radio
