Hailing from the city of Houston, Texas, notorious for its syrup flavored, slowed down hip hop, the power-pop punk quartet that is Betterluck permanently formed in the fall of 2007, with Kyle Durst(vocalist) leading the formation. Standing on the battle lines with him are Chase Woods(lead Guitarist/vocalist), Stephen Kornblit(bass) and Andy Rodesney(drums/percussion).Having been friends and collaborating musicians for as long as they had, they wasted no time establishing themselves in the Houston music scene, building a loyal fan-base and following that continues to thrive and grow as the band does the same.

Betterluck is known for their energy packed shows, power riffs, witty humor, and harmonious and catchy vocals which they present in their highly entertaining live show. With the release of their debut E.P. HateLoveLifeParty, the band is destined for a bright future in music, and with such broad influences ranging from A New Found Glory, Ben Folds, and Tribe Called Quest, Betterluck is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Don't let the pretty side of the songs fool you, the quartet brings brutal right back to where it needs to be, the good old fashioned way. Fast, yet well paced. And its placement couldn't be better.
