BERNARD + EDITH

Anybody with an interest in Manchester's alternative music underground should be familiar with dark art pop duo Bernard + Edith - they've been making music, performing around the city, and generally building a local following for a while now. Still, the pesky North/South divide has meant that they remain little known outside of their immediate community, but that should be set to change with the release of their debut single Poppy, due out on SWAYS Records, Salford's inspiring independent label/collective.

We've got both the first listen of the nightmarish Poppy and the first glimpse of its equally foreboding video. If this is indeed your introduction to Bernard + Edith then the video and song should speak for themselves, nailing that strobelit, smoky, and shadowy atmosphere.
