Ben Hazlewood

The name "Ben Hazlewood" might not ring a bell now, but you'll probably start hearing it a lot in the coming months. Or maybe it does, if you were a follower of The Voice Australia in 2012. Hazlewood, a contestant from the show's first season, is currently crafting his solo career as a singer-songwriter.

He started with a debut album, Loveless, in 2013, a pop record with traces of soul (not a far cry from The Script, per say). But his recent singles, released late last year, reveal a shifting mood. The latest, "Wanted," is a darker and synthier track, but still light enough to get stuck in your head.

Along with working his way up in the music industry, he's drifting over into the fashion world too. This fashion week, he'll be performing for Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner at the Middle East Fashion Show press conference in NYC and London. He's even slated to pose for a campaign shot by Nigel Barker and walk for Malan Breton. This doesn't come as a surprise, though, considering his heartthrob-meets-guy-next-door look.

Hazlewood isn't expected to drop a new album until this fall, but until then, get your fix with the "Wanted" video, which boasts haunting monochromatic visuals, debuting below. - Harper's Bazaar

This is Ben Hazlewood. You may remember him from the first series of ‘The Voice’ back in 2012.
You may also recall that he released both an EP and a single entitled ‘Loveless’ in the years hence, that he toured with fellow ‘The Voice’ singer Kiyomi Vella and that he dropped an intensely satisfying single called ‘Paint Me Black’ early last year.
Ben’s kicked off his 2016 musical adventures with the video for his new single ‘Wanted’, a big, dramatic number that speaks about a burning desire and intense yearning for love.
The production packs a punch and Ben’s voice is in overdrive for most of this, while the black and white clip sees him pouring every inch of his being into the performance.
