The band has a unique and innovative playing style, and their music ventures into prog-rock territory on some tracks like "The Ventriloquist Part 1" and "Part 2" that give the group a great deal of leverage and make them stand out prominently among all the other bands from the pack.
I've heard of this band previously only by name and have never gotten the opportunity to check out their music, but so I did just last night and it left quite an indelible impression on me with its vibrant rhythms and solid lyricism. - Music Box Pete Blog
The Ventriloquist EP has all the hallmarks of unrivalled capability and is consummate with original composition use and expert vocal structure that is on par with the greats that we all know and love. - Aerial Noise
The crowd loved the driving beats and the soulfulness in their playing.
Ian, Archi, and Luca have a sort of magical chemistry as a band, and are definitely worth seeing live. - Berklee Groove
"Their presences on stage were perhaps what made their set one of the most zealous of the night. It was clear to see the members of Bear Language fed off each other while performing, pushing each other to play harder and louder. Bear Language’s enthusiastic demeanors were infectious as they bounced around stage. Not even a broken guitar string could stop the high-octane trio from doing what they loved." - The Saint Rose Chronicle
Through their songwriting, they have a very rare intangibility that makes them especially unique in a landscape of smaller bands mired in mediocrity. - Soundboard Boston
We feel very privileged to have met this collection of humble and skilled musicians, so make sure to hit play. - Soundboard Boston
"A unique local Boston based band, that will more than likely be making rounds and headlines at next year’s CMJ 2013 showcases. Yep, I’m calling it." - BANDxCITY
Be on the lookout for a brand new Bear Language album coming soon. - Deli Magazine New England
I caught these kids live the other day and enjoyed it so much I sought out another of their sets just a few short days later. They really stand out in a crowd. A pair of the new songs in their live set were simply mesmerizing. Others were capable of making even the most stiff hipsters move (guilty). From what I understand, the guys have been working on recording for the last four months and have as many as 20 tracks written and many recorded for a debut record. This is getting in on the ground early and I tell you - this band is already worth seeing and they're only getting better. This is going to be really, really good! - Ryan's Smashing Life
