Bauxhead

Bauxhead is a collaboration of British musician/composer Steve Webb and Kiwi singer/songwriter Kim Cullen. While comparing notes on migrating to Australia, they found a common obsession with music. Having both been in numerous bands and written songs in their native countries, they decided to collaborate on some new material. Kim’s powerful melodies and harmonies combine well with Steve’s rock based backing tracks and arrangements and have produced good solid rock/pop songs with hooks and lyrics you can actually remember. ‘Dayzalazia’ selected by Realize records 2008, ‘Yesterday, Today’ selected for compilation album 2006, Runaway’ selected by Research Music for a compilation album and released on iTunes 2008. ‘My song’ semi finalist for The UK song writing contest 2008. ‘Runaway’ finalist for the Australian song writing contest 2009, ‘The Audience’ finalist in Blackbird song contest 2010.
