We're Bassafras! We formed our 3-piece outfit in the Spring of 2023 in Seattle Washington.
It all started after frontman B* released his first solo-written and solo-performed Bassafras! EP "We Made It" in the fall of 2022 (Recorded/Produced/Mastered by Corey Hallsted at Disscentric Audio). A short album dipped-in by it's heals in a vat of heavily influenced grunge and alternative rock sounds (AVAILABLE ON ALL STREAMING SERVICES!)
Months later after connecting with drummer Branden Minnear and bassist Josiah Ecker, they began creating tracks delving into a fresh new direction of intricate pulsating beats, heavy tones, and sailing leads. Our lyrics created by B* are heavily focused on self-improvement, self-destruction, addiction, social norms, B*s perspective of him existing as a mixed-race human being, and taking-on all the endless stressors of the world one day at a time.
We love what we do, and our only goal is to share that with you. We're allies for inclusion, and giving a fuck about being yourself. We're here for you!
