Barrows and Sun is the hip-hop explosion of rapper Rebel Sun (Lucille Crew, Coolooloosh) and Grammy Award-winning producer David Ampong, aka Mean J Barrows, who worked on Dr. Dre’s AfterMath label.
Rebel Sun, international hip-hop artist and Baltimore native, resides in Tel Aviv, after relocating Israel in 1999. As frontman member of Coolooloosh and Lucille Crew, Rebel Sun has become a staple of the Israeli music scene and a constant face in the international festival circuits. He also performs as a guest emcee for the renown production consortium RawTapes. David Ampong is a beats master and audio engineer at Waves Audio and has years of music production experience. He has produced for many different artists, both in the studio and live, most recently having worked for Dr. Dre's Aftermath label. He is the musical genius behind Barrows and Sun and goes by the name Mean J Barrows.Links
