The following three nights found me at Rock the Dock. Although I didn’t hear everything, I enjoyed the wide selection of music. The variety allows you to always see something that you like. As I expected I was impressed with Matt Andersen and Matt Miglewood who both did powerful sets. All the rest of the local acts did good, solid sets, in particular Back Pocket Material, a tight musical combo with a future in the business - Cape Breton Post

Back Pocket Material is a band local to Sydney, Nova Scotia. They have shared the stage with the likes of Trooper, Slowcoaster, and Hedley.They've been around since 2006, and their sounds reflect that. They are constantly shifting into the past, present, and future.
