Autumn Fire

What started out as 4 friends who just happened to play the right instruments to form a band, Autumn Fire is more a group of brothers than your average band. Officially formed in 2006, and, after extensive searching, picked up a permanent singer in 2008 and began playing out all over Central New York. Autumn Fire hesitates to be coined as a "modern rock" band, for that is an ever changing genre, yet prefers to call their music honest hard rock. With southern rock and metal influences, having musically come into their own listening to the likes of Tool and Sevendust, they create a sound that is truly identifiable as their own. Their debut release Endless helped solidify a devout fan base, and helped expand their gigging opportunities. In late 2010 Autumn Fire entered the Monster Energy attle of the Bands at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse along with over 50 other regional bands. After 3 rounds of shows in the event, Autumn Fire won first place. Having since taken a tour from New York to Virginia Beach, winning another battle of the bands which allowed to open for Blue Oyster Cult in 2011 to an audience of over 700, Autumn Fire has just proudly released their sophomore effort Amends.
