The Band has a special place in their hearts for The Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Third Eye Blind, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Switchfoot, Huey Lewis and the News, and Muddy Waters to name a few. Their eclectic tastes demonstrate an outstanding combination of music that can stir our musical psyches and keep us pushing our tuneful appetites and patience to their maximum restrictions.

Preceding Minds like Parachutes, Aside Oceans released their first concept album in June of 2009, The Learning Tree. This rocking compilation submerges into the very core of existence that sparks unanswered questions and thought provoking possibilities. This album unified the band’s Crazy Eighteen Tour that sparked a dedicated following from the bustling streets and stages of New York to the hot flavors and theaters of Miami, Florida.
