Asia Beverly’s Bio

Asia Beverly is a sassy female rap artist, from a small town in Elkhart, Indiana but raised in “South Bend”. At the age of 6 she was a part of a singing group which included some cousins and church friends called The Sunshine Band. She grew up in Indiana until the age of 12 then later moved to Atlanta, GA. While residing in Atlanta Asia has been a part of three different rap groups named G.M.G. (Get Money Girls), Y.C.P. Misses (Young Crunk N’ Pimpin), and Trackmobb Chicks. All three groups were based in Stone Mountain, GA. on the Eastside (zone 6) of Atlanta. Asia was able to apply her “different” style and flow to each group which quickly set her apart from the rest. Upon realization of this special flare she decided to work on her own solo career. Her music has an interesting appeal to her audience of many. When asked to describe her music Asia replied, “Its fun and it can make you laugh or make you cry, to be honest”. Her song writing style is based off things that have happened in her life and basically the realness of life in itself. Musical influences and people who inspire Asia as an artist are Rick James, The Isley Brothers, Bootsy Collins, Pharrell Williams, Jimmy Hendrix, Linkin Park, Eminem and an array of various artists. Her influence from the mentioned artists contributes to her raw and edgy yet eccentric image as an artist and individual. Asia has come a long way in her career as an aspiring rap artist with multiple performances, open-mics, event openers, and collaboration with various artists, producers, and engineers in the music industry. Her biggest achievement so far she says, “Becoming focused at a young age and building my brand”. In such a saturated industry it is difficult to figure out where you belong, but Asia has found her niche in the industry as a female solo rap artist. Working diligently Asia is grinding daily to become one of the renowned artists in today’s music industry. When asked about advice or tips she would give to other aspiring artists she replied, “Never give up, don’t let anybody change you as an artist, and be loyal to your team at all times”.
