Discography
"Bees" is a concept album of full-band pop songs written around that theme. The music on this record is central to Artichoke's live shows.
"26 Animals" is a beautifully illustrated songbook containing a CD of an entire alphabet of science and animal stories that kids AND adults love. As written about in The Los Angeles Weekly and performed at the Geffen Theatre.
"Historic Highland Park" is a collection of pop songs about our part of northeast Los Angeles. The album starts with a catchy and quirky day in the life of Highland park called "Trash Day" and ends with an epic history of California, the mysterious and never-performed "El Dorado."
"26 Scientists, Volume One" and "26 Scientists, Volume Two" were the concept records that put Artichoke on the map and in The New York Times. A wealth of biographical and historical material deftly woven into 26 infectious indie pop songs.
