Interview with Chuck from Music Lives - Music Lives
A very good proposal for Melodic Hardcore with metalcoreros dyes from Ontario, Canada. This band called Arkham Awaits comes ringing from 2011, but it is not until now with the release of their second EP I know of its existence. Looking for a little, we find that that same 2011 with a pretty decent 3 tracks EP called 'Justice' debuted. Now this April 15 last took the second, 'Meridian', again a packet 3 songs that we review below.
The first theme is called 'The Seer', starting with tranquil tones, a few melodic screams and a few arrangements cleans. I love using changes of pace constantly by making it something fun to listen, with passages quick hardcoreros a guitar alone up to a beautiful breakdown, and tremendous variety.
Then there is 'Regicide' which begins more aggressive, and here is more noticeable the use of supernal clean vocals as also a mid-term break for relaxing the neurons.
And we closed with 'A Siege Upon Us', which like the first theme starts quiet, progressive form, an entry accompanied by powerful screams metalcore linda, a choir that I like too use of percussion that gives the environment a break behind the melody, and a worthy end says this small EP.
In conclusion, Arkham Awaits brings a good proposal, while they are only 3 subjects, they have a pretty decent duration and we can shape a clear idea of what could later make with a launch of long-lasting.

Bio
Arkham Awaits is one of the many upcoming bands in the Ontario metal scene. Formed in 2011, this band has already caught the attention of many fans and fellow lovers of metal alike. Every show this 5-piece melodic hardcore band plays is a learning experience, and although they are new to the scene, they are mature beyond their time. Reminicent of a young Alexisonfire, they forge a unique mix of heaviness and melody.
As soon as you meet the band you know theyre in it for the long haul. With 30+ shows under their belt and an energy that is evident as soon as you see them, these guys don't show any signs of slowing down.
Welcome the newest members to your metal scene,
