Opening for Chris was multi-talented newcomer Ariel Strasser. Ariel, a singer and songwriter hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota had the opportunity to grow up in a musical family. Her love of music extended to become her focus at Boston Conservatory where she concentrated on musical songwriting. Her talent in songwriting was apparent immediately as she began to belt out songs soon to be released on her new album Crooked Line. Ariel Strasser is a singer/songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up in a house surrounded by her family's music, it wasnt a surprise when she was accepted to the prestigious Boston Conservatory musical theater program. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an emphasis in songwriting, Ariel has had the privilege of collaborating with artists such as singer/songwriter Samuel Crown, drummer Scotty Horey, percussionist Fernando Meza, and singer/songwriter Chris Trapper. She is currently promoting her recently released album, "Crooked Line" recorded at The Vault recording studio in Hoboken, NJ with producer Dan McLoughlin of The Push Stars. "Crooked Line" features Nate Tucker on drums and percussion, Max Judelson on upright bass, Adrianne Pope on violin and Chris Trapper, also of The Push Stars, on vocals.
