Bio
Aprilann is a singer-songwriter-actress who currently resides in Manhattan. She earned her Associates Arts Degree from the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. April recently finished filming the female lead role in the upcoming film "Johnny Gruesome" which is a screenplay based on the wildly popular novel of the same name by Gregory Lamberson. Her single "Not You," is featured in the film set for a fall 2017 release. April is equally passionate about making music and performing. In January, 2017 April performed at the famous 12th & Porter in Nashville with headliner firekid, along with Curb Records’ artist Larry Gordon, to a packed house. Throughout 2016 April shared her music by performing in the central Florida area, where she is from, at local restaurants and bars. Aprilann has several songs on iTunes with more in production. Her latest release Crown and the Girls (remix), tells the story of heartbreak and learning to let go. Aprilann completed the remix for Crown and the Girls, along with a performance video for the remix, which will be released in April followed by a new song and music video debuting later this year. Aprilann’s biggest musical influence is Taylor Swift. She inspires April to write her songs with passion and honesty. Additional artists that April loves are Selena Gomez, Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus, Zara Larsson, Rihanna, Colbie Caillat, The Carpenters, and the Brinks.
