Bio
Formed in summer of 2010, Antiques original members consisted of Sven Sorhus, Tyler Merriman and Alex Woodbury and Zach Samuell. They met in the music school at Texas State University when Sven and Tyler studied sound recording while Alex studied violin performance. In the summer of 2011, Antiques made their debut EP "Fire, Fire". They relocated to Austin in the summer of 2012, joined forces with new drummer Chris Mead, and released their first full-length album "If You Have to Ask" on August 17, 2013 at Stubb's.
Influences include Wilco, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Iron and Wine, Nick Drake, and Fleet Foxes.
