Hitting you with another #MusicMonday SClusive, we now bring you something brand fresh and new from soulful South Korean New Yorker ANE, with the official video for her self-penned debut single, “Typical Day,” in ode to the city that never sleeps.
Produced by fellow NYC native DJ Morsy, ANE describes the track as her love song for their city – “and for everyone who knows and has experienced real love, we all know that it’s not all butterflies and rainbows,” she adds, “so I wanted to express the everyday struggle as a typical working girl in this crazy city. But at the end of the day when you love somebody or something, it’s all good. It’ll work itself out.

Fusing electro, pop and soul elements, ANE’s sound is a contradiction of contemporary and vintage sounds. She decided to embark on her musical path, experimenting with several bands and genres. Experiencing the highs and lows of the city, love and life – her point of view is as unique as her voice. Her chosen name stands for “A New Era” – and she represents the evolution happening in music, fashion and art today.
Possessing an almost mysterious wisdom, nothing is what it seems in Ane’s world. She is ready to embrace and represent the new generation – but is ready to take things to a place all her own.
