Andrea Carlson

This summer Andrea was a winner in Philadelphia Songwriters Project songwriting contest. She has sang for 10 years with various jazz bands in Chicago. Now as a solo act she blends the two styles seamlessly together to create something new and refreshing. The sound of the guitar is warm in tone and rhythmic in technique. Her songs are complex in structure but her lovely voice and melodies guides the listener though each one with emotion and mood. Her sound is pleasing, infectious, and like no other. She holds a degree in classical guitar from the American Conservatory of Music.
