Ancestors of God mixes ambient metal with sludge & psychedelia, and is at their best in a live setting.
Ancestors of God began as a concept by Shanesaw, an accomplished hardcore musician who envisioned a new creative direction for his music. Drummer Nick Platter was on-board almost from the start, and in October 2017 he solicited the involvement of bassist Steven John. Keyboardist Valerie Hudak, formerly of Graveshadow, was added in 2018. With the line-up secured, song-writing and arrangement picked up in earnest, resulting in a 32-minute EP entitled "The Beginning", which was independently released online on February 28th, 2018.The band's current lineup features:
Shanesaw - vocals, guitar
