Launching the evening will be Amy Cross, who has been building a reputation as one of the premier piano-playing vocalists in the Triangle. While she plays lightly enough to allow for background conversation, the dynamics of both her fingers and voice are enough to bring even the rowdiest Franklin Street bars to complete silence.

Bio
One could argue that Amy Cross has an unfair advantage working in her favor. The singer/songwriter/piano virtuoso is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.A. in Commercial Music.
Amy recorded two albums worth of material while at FSU, as well as two live albums, including her graduation recital. She also performed at Florida's Big Time Talent Show and was nominated Best Unsigned Songwriter.
In 2006, Amy recorded a six-song EP titled "Something More". The collection is a strong testament to her natural abilities behind the piano and microphone. The songs flow gracefully from simple melodies to pounding, emotional harmonies.
In 2016, Amy released an album of original songs produced by Russ DeSalvo, Frank Miceli and Gene Back.
Amy can be found most recently in the studio recording new songs and performing shows around New York City.
