From mournful ballads to soulful duets, Amon & Audra weave Folk, Alt-Country and Blues into a world of rich storytelling. With a desire to connect deeply with every listener, they captivate audiences through the emotional intensity of their performances.
Amon and Audra blend acoustic guitar and piano with a vocal partnership that takes the listener on a journey of love and loss, courage and despair, loneliness and hope. Cello often accompanies the duo, providing emotive colour and rhythm to their songs.
Their EP ‘Home’ was launched in December 2013 over 2 spectacular sold-out nights on a private rooftop penthouse in Brisbane, and they will be releasing “Live on a Rooftop”, a live CD and DVD of these shows in April this year.
“Each night we bleed” they often say to each other. There is no better quote to sum up what this duo brings to their music.
