Amity & 12th brings a fusion of alternative country, pop, and blues to NYC. Their original music was born from a collaboration over a cheap bottle of Rioja in a walk-up apartment on 12th street in the East Village. Their distinct ambient electric guitar and primal bass tones highlight their indie aesthetic. Amity & 12th's songs tell stories of fantasy, reverence, glory, fear, love, and truth. Their stomping ground is East Village, LES, and Brooklyn. Inspirations come from alt country and blues artists like Bonnie Raitt, Muddy Waters, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, and Grace Potter.
