It’s not often you meet a group of young men with an indelible passion and respect for the art of songwriting above all. Formed in the summer of 2010, by lead vocalist Andrew Miller and lead guitarist Ben Richards, AM83 is an American alternative rock band base in Atlanta, Georgia. Holding vibrant lyric and melody, up to spacious sound-scapes and gritty guitar playing, the music they create shines through and dances with emotion. Influenced by the music of artists like Coldplay and Led Zeppelin, to Jeff Buckley and John Mayer, they explore and experiment with song writing and sound construction, to create a unique and rich world of music. They are in the process of self-producing their first E.P. The album is set to be released at the end of January with great anticipation from their growing fan base. The love and confidence they have for their art makes them a creative force to be carefully watched.
