Boye created “Home For a Download” and now every time his new song “Crazy for You” is downloaded from iTunes, a little piece of home is built for Beatrice and her children. Boye is donating 100% of the money raised from the downloads to buy the family a home. Boye says, “If I could do something for someone that is so big that they could never pay me back, that’s where the good feelings come from.”

Beatrice is grateful for Boye’s help. “I’ll be very happy to have a home. I know getting a home in America is very difficult. Not everyone has an opportunity to own their own home,” she said.

Pop idol turned Christian rocker in town for workshop, concert

Alex Boye' may not be a household name in the United States, but in Europe during the late 90s Boye' was the lead singer of the boy band Awesome. With hits in more than 15 countries and more than half a million CDs sold, Boye' has performed alongside artists such as N�SYNC, The Backstreet Boys, Missy Elliott, Mary.J. Blige and George Michael.

Boye will be stopping in St. Louis on Saturday, July 19 to give a free stage presence workshop and live concert. The workshop will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 3905 McPherson Ave. (at Vandeventer) - from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In the evening, hear Boye live at The In Spot, Dessert Bar & Lounge - 5854a Delmar Blvd. from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. - The St. Louis American (Dana King)

International performer comes to Fort Walton Beach

...presents Alex Boye, gospel award winning male vocalist, tonight...
Boye, a singer/songwriter/actor and a dancer, was born and raised in London, England, and has performed internationally for many years. He was the lead singer of European boy band Awesome and has had hits in over 15 countries. He has also shared the stage with artists such as the Backstreet Boys, N’SYNC, Mary J. Blige, Brian Adams, and Smashing Pumpkins.

Boye’s acting experience includes principle roles in the much talked about production of Big River as Jim, the Civil War as Frederick Douglass and Smokey Joe’s Cafe as Victor In television, he was a featured guest on the hit CBS sitcom, “How I Met Your Mother.” He has been chosen to be a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
