Airplane Mode is an indie rock band from New York City, drawing inspiration from the Killers, Foo Fighters, Walk the Moon, and maybe a little bit of Taylor Swift.
Dave Wiskus (vocals, guitar), Joe Cieplinski (bass), Anna Stefanic (keyboard), and Patrick Spencer (drums) each come from very different musical backgrounds, all of which converge explosively in their dance-friendly performances. Between their introspective lyrics and catchy beats, Airplane Mode insists on moving the audience by any means necessary
The band loves to experiment, documenting their progress and concepts via their website, YouTube videos, and critically-acclaimed podcast. In the true spirit of indie rock and roll, anything goes and everything is on display.
