Against Grace is a dance rock trio from Petersburg, VA. They are a mixture of polished pop hooks, dance grooves, and make-you-move rock. Against Grace is a dance pop trio from Petersburg, VA. They are a mixture of polished pop hooks, dance grooves, and make-you-move rock. AG brings together rock tendencies like Neon Trees and dance vibes like Two Door Cinema Club.
AG's latest single, "This Is Your Story", was used during the 2013 football season for ESPN/NFL commercials worldwide. Their first single, "Radio" garnered an honorable mention award in Billboard's World Songwriting Contest, and received airplay in the UK.
Since their debut release, Against Grace has shared the stage with many regional and national artists such as Matt & Kim, Three Days Grace, Anberlin, SafetySuit, Switchfoot, Airborne Toxic Event, Saving Abel, Parachute, Hollywood Undead, Mae, Bayside, Thriving Ivory, Matt Nathanson, and many others. AG also completed a tour of U.S. Armed Forces bases in Japan and performed at Tokyo's Bon Adori Music Festival.
The trio is currently preparing to release their first full-length album. It was recorded at The Fidelitorium and was produced by Ted Comerford. Mixing was done by Paul David Hager (Goo Goo Dolls, Our Lady Peace, P!nk) and Jack Joseph Puig (Weezer, Owl City, Green Day). The album's first single, "This Is Your Story", was released on Jan 1, 2013.
